Cycling maximizes the benefits while also preventing desensitization. As such, our products are designed for regular use, with cycling: 5 days on and 2 days off each week. It does not matter if the 2 "off-cycle" days are consecutive or apart, so long as they happen each week.
The only ingredient that produces a come-down effect when not taken is caffeine. Our product contains 90mg of caffeine – about the amount in a cup of black tea, or about a third as much as in a tall Starbucks coffee. Many people will still use some other caffeine source (coffee, etc) on the off-cycle days to prevent this. For maximum benefits, we recommend that people cycle off all caffeine (including this product) for one week every three months or so.
Will a tolerance form over time and/or cause dependency?
Key to the product’s effectiveness is cycling off 2 days per week. This is all that’s required to prevent tolerance from forming.
You may, however, notice over time that the product doesn’t seem to provide the same degree of uplift. Qualia was designed to create long-term lasting benefits and increase your overall baseline, so a less noticeable uplift over time is often indicative of a higher underlying baseline of mood and cognition being your new normal.
The number one reason people may not feel the effects is lack of or poor sleep. Qualia works along the same pathways in the brain that move your memories from short to long term storage when you are in deep sleep.
If those pathways are blocked or unavailable due to lack of or poor sleep, you will not feel Qualia working.
Minimal alcohol consumption, such as a glass of red wine in the evening, is generally well tolerated. Please note, however, that taking with heavy alcohol consumption is not recommended.
If you are particularly sensitive to having heart rate increase because you have a heart condition or tachycardia, Qualia might be contraindicated. Please refer to our medical disclaimer and consult with your doctor.
If it’s only mildly elevated, stop use for a day or two, and try again at a lower dose, if you like.
For some, Qualia can help them remember their dreams more vividly.
Since recreational drugs are not legal in the United States, we are not in a position to advise regarding their interactions with Qualia.
Some people experience a re-regulation of sleep patterns after the first week on Qualia. Some users may find they fall asleep later, or sleep less, or have more vivid dreams. If those experiences occur, they generally normalize within a week of regular use.
We’ve taken care to avoid risky ingredients and to select dosages that are unlikely to have negative effects for most people. That said, this isn’t a placebo. The supplements in Qualia have real effects and there is a lot in here. Read the instructions and follow them. If something feels wrong, stop using it.
A very small percentage of people have reported some kind of headache or head pressure after beginning Qualia.
Unfortunately, the chemistry of depression and anxiety can be very nuanced. As such, we do not recommend anyone experiencing any type of psychiatric issues take Qualia unsupervised.
