Why do you recommend only taking Qualia Senolytic for 2 days a month?

Intermittent use—some experts call this a “hit and run” approach—is the way senolytics are most commonly used to support healthy aging.* The “hit and run” approach means that senolytics are recommended to be taken for a couple of days followed by a longer period of time when they are not taken.

Senescent cells are created in, and removed from tissues constantly throughout life (and over shorter periods of time like a month). The goal of taking senolytics is to shift the balance in favor of removal, which should not require daily dosing since senescent cells accumulate slowly.*

Think about this “hit and run” dosing as being a bit like how you might approach pruning a plant: pruning is something you’d want to do frequently but not every day. Another way to think about taking senolytics is as being akin to a water fast or detox protocol, which are not something done every day, but instead, would be something done for a few days periodically to support health goals.*

Do soy isoflavones impact testosterone in men?

Soy foods and soy isoflavones have been studied a number of times and have not been found to impact testosterone in men.* As is the case with most compounds found in the diet, it can be useful to think in terms of amount rather than good or bad. The amount of soy isoflavones in a 2-day dose of Qualia Senolytic would be similar to the amount consumed over about 1 week in a diet where fermented soy products are consumed consistently, like the Japanese diet, which has a reputation of being one of the world’s healthiest cuisines.
